Mounds View City Council June 11, 1984 <br />Regular Meeting Page Four <br />Motion Seccnd: McCarty /Linke to approve the second <br />reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 364, amending <br />the Municipal Code of Mounds View by amending <br />Chapter 41 entitled, "Specific Rezonings and <br />waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Mayor McCarty <br />Blanchard aye <br />Doty aye <br />Linke aye <br />aye <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Blanchard to table the second 9. <br />reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 365 until such <br />time as the Planning Commission may readdress the <br />issue. <br />Bob Balch introduced himself as a representative of <br />the owner of Pinecrest Properties. <br />Glen VanWormer, a traffic engineer with Short <br />Elliott- Hendrickson, reviewed the proposed plan for <br />Pinecrest Properties, specifically the traffic flow <br />patterns and the landscaping and berming plans. He <br />stated that they are proposing a full median opening <br />on Highway 10 between County Road H and County Road H2. <br />Mr. Balch made a presentation of the type of buildings <br />that might be constructed in the development. <br />Mary Bixler, 2235 County Road H2, asked what type of <br />industry was proposed. <br />Mr. Balch replied they will be developing the land <br />and selling the lots, and they do not know at this <br />time what would go in, but they believe it will be <br />mostly offices and warehouse type buildings. He <br />added they hope to sell some property and possibly <br />build two or three buildings yet in 1984. <br />Ms. Bixler stated she was opposed to a light industrial <br />development. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Linke to have the second reading <br />and adoption of Ordinance No. 368, amending the Muni- <br />cipal Code of Mounds View by amending Chapter 41 <br />entitled "Specific Rezonings and waive the reading. <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Mayor McCarty <br />Kanchard aye <br />Doty aye <br />Linke aye <br />aye <br />8.
