He explained they
have been working continuously on the project,
but in meeting with Staff and the Council on
several items, there are still some unresolved
issued, such as the wetlands issue. He stated
they were given a 90 day extension on April 9,
and are requesting this second extension to get
everything together. He also noted that Staff
has advised him they are looking at proposed
revisions to the wetlands ordinance.
Approved: 07 -23 -84
Mayor McCarty questioned what granting another
extension would do to the integrity of the
ordinance if they extend the time frame.
Attorney Meyers advised it is not so much a legal
question as it is a political one. He stated
the Council could grant an extension if they feel
there_ is a good reason for one, or if the applicant
can prove the delay was caused by circumstances
beyond his control.
Regular Meeting
July 9, 1984
Mounds View City Hall
2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112
The Mounds View City Council was called to order by 1.
