PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on November 13, 1984. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Doty, <br />Linke, Hankner and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk /Admini- <br />strator Pauley and Public Works /Community Development <br />Director Thatcher. <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Blanchard to approve the October <br />72, 1984 minutes as corrected. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Linke to approve the <br />November 7, 1984 minutes as presented. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays 1 abstention <br />Regular Meeting <br />November 13, 1984 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />Jean Miller, 2291 Hillview Road, presented copies of <br />a letter the Concerned Citizens had received from <br />the Governor, in response to a letter they had sent <br />him on the airport issue. <br />Robert Beutel, 2555 Ridge Lane, chairman of the <br />Energy Commission, gave a brief summary of the newly <br />formed commission and stated they would he holding <br />workshops on November 27 and December 1, and are push- <br />ing for complete participation. He also informed the <br />Council of a condition of the State that the commission <br />include a representative of the senior citizens and <br />one from organized labor. He explained there is only <br />one vacancy on the commission and requested the <br />Council 'ncrease the membership by one. <br />DATE APPROVED: November 26, 1984 <br />1. Call to Order <br />2.
