Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />Attorney Meyers advised that the developer must come <br />back for final approval, and if all costs are not <br />paid, approval would not be granted. He also <br />pointed out the development has been approved, and <br />they must also decide if the City wants to aid <br />the developer by issuing industrial revenue <br />financing. He pointed out the applicant was put on <br />notice by the resolution, and they must also consider <br />whether this is an appropriate use for tax exempt <br />financing. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to approve Resolution <br />No. 1827 and waive the reading. <br />3 ayes 2 nays <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she voted against the <br />motion as the request does not meet guidelines <br />8 and 9. <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated she voted against <br />the motion for the same reasons, as well as <br />Resolution No. 1125. <br />Director Thatcher advised that the Planning Commission 10 <br />will be meeting for their agenda session on November <br />20, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. <br />Director Thatcher reviewed the two proposals received <br />for soil boring for the 1985 MSA project, and <br />recommended the low bid of Braun Engineering. <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Linke to approve the hiring of <br />Braun Engineering for the 1985 MSA project, not to <br />exceed $1,150, with the funds to come from MSA. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />November 13, 1984 <br />Page Four <br />Motion Carried <br />Report of <br />Director of <br />Public Works/ <br />Community Dvlpt. <br />Motion Carried <br />Attorney Meyers advised he had been preparing a number 11.
