Mounds View City Council December 17, 1984 <br />Special Meeting Page Two <br />Finance Director then presented to the Council Resolution <br />No. 1849 Approving Securities furnished by the First State <br />Bank of New Brighton. Finance Director Brager explained <br />that this resolution was necessary due to the fact that one <br />of the securities provided by the First State Bank of New <br />Brighton would be maturing on December 26 and it was <br />necessary for them to provide a security to replace this at <br />the time of its expiration. <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Hankner to approve 6. Motion <br />Resolution No. 1849 and <br />waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Blanchard to 7. Motion <br />approve Resolution No. Carried <br />1847 Repealing Resolution No. <br />1125 and Setting Guidelines for the <br />Issuance of Tax Exempt Industrial <br />Development Bonds or Loans by the City. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mr. Bill Frits raised several questions with the City <br />Council regarding the intent of this resolution. After a <br />lengthy discussion Staff was directed by the Council to <br />forward to Mr. Frits copies of Resolutions Nos. 1847 and <br />1848. <br />Motion /Second: McCarty /Linke to adopt 8. Motion <br />Resolution No. 1848 Carried <br />Repealing Resolution No. <br />1434 and Establishing Policy <br />Guidelines for Tax Increment Financing and <br />wiave the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Hankner to 9. Motion <br />approve the licenses for Carried <br />amusement devices, gasoline, <br />stations and non intoxicating <br />malt liquor off -sale as listed on the <br />agenda. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Doty Hankner to adopt 10.
