He presented an overhead projection <br />of the breakdown of disbursements of the 1985 property <br />tax levy. <br />Finance Director Brager reviewed the plans for the <br />upcoming special election and the counting of the <br />ballots. They will be having a demo counter in for <br />the special election, and if Staff is pleased with <br />its capabilities and performance, they may be coming <br />back to the Council with a recommendation for purchase <br />n 1986. <br />The Finance Department is working on the year end <br />financial statements and preparing for the audit. <br />There is a part -time accounting clerk on board, who <br />is working 20 hours a week, and '.s working out well. <br />Microfiche readers and filmers have been purchased for <br />the City, and they are working on filming records. <br />Finance Director Brager will be working with a computer <br />consultant in the near future to study the City's <br />information needs, and hopes to have a recommendation <br />to the Council by August or September, before the budget <br />is approved for 1986. <br />Police Chief Ramacher reviewed 1984 as a <br />as documented in the yearly report which <br />previous week.
