Mr. McCarty also asked the Council to removed revised Ordinance No. 391 from the table and deny it at this time. Mayor Linke replied it is scheduled for the next agenda session for further discussion. Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened the public hearing for the M. H. Anderson property at Silver Lake Road and County Road H2 at 8:12 PM. Director Thatcher explained that M. H. Anderson is proposing to amend their existing PUD on the subject property, and he reviewed their request to rezone the property from R -2 to R -1, and subdivide the lots from 8 R -2 to 11 R -1. Jessie Barnes, 7350 Silver Lake Road, stated he was in favor of single family homes rather than double dwellings. He also asked if the dirt along the edges of Silver Lake Road and County Road H2 would be moved or who would maintain it. Director Thatcher replied that the dirt berm will be left as a noise barrier, and it will be the respon- sibility of the home owners to car for it. He added that M. H. Anderson will be cutting it later this week. Dan Grr,we, no address given, stated he had recently bought a home in the Anderson development and had not been told that duplexes were proposed for that area, and he was definitely against allowing duplexes, and was concerned about his property value. He also asked what price homes would be put there if it is approved for single homes. Director Thatcher replied they will be in the $115,000 to $130,000 price range. Alan Wetherhold, 2751 Hodges Lane, stated he also wants to see single family homes. Carol Holmgren, 7417 Parkview Drive, stated she also wants to see single family homes.
