Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />`lotion /Second: Hankner /Haake to approve the consent <br />agenda, as amended, and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />It was noted Public Works /Community Development <br />Director Thatcher was absent on vacation. <br />Attorney Meyers reported that Greg Johnson has filed <br />a petition for discretionary review by the State <br />Supreme Court in the Highway 10 radiator case, and <br />they can expect a decision within 30 days on whether <br />the Court will review it. <br />Attorney Meyers noted that no answer had been received <br />yet on the MAC lawsuits, but they have until January <br />2, 1986 to respond. <br />Councilmember Hankner had no report. <br />ouncilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Councilmember Quick had no report. <br />Councilmember Haake had no report. <br />Mayor Linke had no report. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reminded everyone that <br />City Hall offices will close at 12 noon on <br />Christmas Eve day. <br />The Council took a 15 minute break and called back 11. <br />to order at 7:25 PM. <br />The Council reviewed a draft of the proposed newsletter <br />to be mailed to the citizens, regarding the special <br />election. <br />Park Director Anderson reviewed why he feels a <br />referendum is necessary, and he reviewed some of <br />the information in the proposed newsletter. <br />Councilmember Hankner asked if the Task Force had <br />poken to anyone in the Public Works department to <br />find out how much time is currently being spent on <br />park maintenance, and whether the overall management <br />issue was discussed. <br />December 23, 1985 <br />Page Two <br />Motion Carried <br />7.
