The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Linke at 7:02 PM. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Quick, <br />Haake, Hankner and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and Public Works /Community <br />Development Director Thatcher. <br />1eguiar Meeting <br />January 27, 1986 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />State Senator, Steve Novak, stated he was <br />isiting the Councils in his district before the start <br />Of the legislative session on February 3, and he <br />explained the session will be dominated by the budget <br />and proposed cuts, and the impact those cuts will have <br />on various programs. He reviewed some of the areas <br />he felt might face some changes, and asked the Council <br />to keep him informed on what they would like done. <br />Motion /Second: Haake /Hankner to approve the January <br />13, 1986 minutes as presented. <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the public hearing on Ordinance No. 404 at 7:30 PM. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the intent of <br />the ordinance, explaining it would bring the City <br />into compliance with the 1985 Minnesota legislative <br />act. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened <br />ze regular meeting at 7:32 PM. <br />1.
