He reviewed <br />some of their findings and reported they have approved <br />it as presented by the Task Force. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported the character 18. Report of <br />generator will be located in the Council chambers soon, Clerk /Admnistr< <br />which should catch the eye of people entering City Hall. tor <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley presented the Council with <br />copies of the memo from the Transportation Division of <br />the Met Council dated May 6, 1986 regarding the Anoka <br />.ounty- Blaine Airport Development Draft EIS /EA. <br />flnance Director Brager asked for authorization from <br />the Council to enter into a contract with Superior <br />Data Corporation for the installation of computer <br />cable in City Hall, the Police Department and Maintenance <br />Garage. He reviewed his memo of May 12 to the Council <br />and explained the necessity of having this cable <br />installed. He also stated the computer is due to ship <br />early, and will arrive in June rather than July, so <br />they must be ready for it. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained all offices at <br />City Hall will be wired at the same time, for future <br />use, which will result in a better discount at this <br />time. <br />Councilmember Quick asked if a separate heating and <br />cooling system would be installed for the computer <br />room. Finance Director Brager replied that the <br />technical people do not feel it is necessary and <br />they can use what the City presently has. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Blanchard to approve a contract <br />with Superior Data Corporation in the amount of <br />55,554.20 for installation of computer cable in City <br />11, the Police Department and Maintenance Garage. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke <br />Motion Carried <br />
