The Mounds View City Council was called to order by 1. Call to <br />Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on May 27, 1986. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Quick, <br />Haake, Hankner and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Clerk /Administrator Pauley and <br />Public Works /Community Development Director <br />Thatcher. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Blanchard to approve the May <br />12, 1986 minutes as presented. <br />0 nays <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />City Forester Rick Wriskey made a presentation of <br />the Tree City USA flag to the Mayor and Council, <br />stating that Mounds View has again received national <br />recognition with this award, and they were one of <br />35 cities in Minnesota to receive it. <br />There were no residents requests or comments from <br />the floor. <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the public hearing at 7:05 PM. <br />Rita Docken, Energy Coordinator, explained the City <br />is considering changing their open system of garbage <br />hauling to contractual hauling.
