The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 23, 1986. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Quick, Haake, <br />Hankner, Blanchard and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and Public Works /Community <br />Development Director Thatcher. <br />=:Motion /Second: Haake /Blanchard to approve the June <br />1986 minutes as corrected. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Alice Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road, asked if the City <br />screens people who go door to door soliciting funds. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley replied there is a City <br />ordinance governing this, and solicitors must <br />regi with the City, and they are given an I.D. <br />card, and if they cannot produce that card, they are <br />not licensed in Mounds View and the Police Department <br />should be called. He added that a background check is <br />done on the individual through the police computer, <br />before the I.D. card is given. <br />Regular Meeting <br />June 23, 1986 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />Mrs. Frits stated she had recently been solicited by <br />a young couple who represented the group "Clean Air <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated that tothe best of <br />his knowledge, they are not licensed in the City.
