Mounds View City Council September 22, 1986 <br />Regular Meeting Page Eight <br />uncilmember Hankner asked how the lawn had been <br />rinkled in previous years. <br />Park Director Anderson explained they ran 300' of <br />hose and moved it as necessary, with Otis Newton <br />doing most of that. He added in the past two years <br />they have made an agressive move to change the outside <br />appearance of City Hall, and sprinkling has been <br />neglected in the past. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she would like more time <br />to think about where this request sits in the order of <br />priorities and how the City should be spending it's <br />money. <br />Councilmember Haake stated she agreed, that this might <br />not be the best time to pursue this item. <br />Motion /Second: Linke /Hankner to table further discussion <br />on this request to the next agenda session. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Director Thatcher had no report. <br />Attorney Meyers had no report. <br />Councilmember Haake had no report. <br />Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br />Councilmember Quick reported he had attended the <br />Park and Rec Commission meeting last Thursday, at which <br />time they put the final touches on a five year capital <br />improvement plan for the parks. He stated they would <br />like to meet with the Council as soon as possible to <br />discuss it. <br />It was the concensus of the Council to direct Staff to <br />'eve the Park and Rec Commission come to the October 6 <br />?nda session. <br />Councilmember Hankner had no report. <br />Motion Carried <br />23.
