Mounds View City Council March 9, 1987 <br />Page Two <br />Regular Meeting <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Wuori to approve Resolution <br />No. 2173, encouraging greater state and federal <br />efforts to control the spread of AIDS. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley read Resolution No. 2173. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported the Department of <br />Education, in cooperation with the State Department <br />of Health and the Department of Human Services, has <br />developed guidelines for school districts to use to <br />educate students on this virus. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the request of <br />Kraus Anderson Development Corporation for a reduction <br />in the performance bond for Development Agreement <br />No. 82 -52, Silver Lake Woods Development, to <br />$37,000.00. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Hankner to approve Resolution <br />No. 2176, reducing the performance bond for Development <br />Agreement No. 82 -52, Silver Lake Woods Development, <br />and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the intent of <br />proposed resolution No. 2175. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Blanchard to approve <br />Resolution No. 2175, amending Resolution No. 1. ^,88 <br />establishing penalties for administrative offenses, <br />and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Councilmember Hankner asked if there could have <br />been a better way to establish the fines, when the <br />original ordinance was adopted. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley replied that the fines <br />had not been set until after the ordinance was <br />passed because of it's controversial nature, as <br />Staff wanted to ensure it was passed before <br />establishing the fines. <br />8.
