Councilmember <br />Wuori <br />Mayor Linke stated there had been problems over the <br />weekend with flower vendors who had set up along <br />Highway 10, and he asked Staff to check into it to <br />avoid future problems with vendors, specifically <br />flower and painting vendors. <br />Attorney Meyers stated the City could possibly require <br />a public hearing before a permit is issued, and he will <br />check further into the ordinance. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley updated the Council on the <br />status of the pipeline safety act and the voting on 12. Report of <br />the bill. He added that NTSB has given the impression Clerk/ <br />they might be revising their report to reflect new Administrator <br />information provided to them by the City. He also reported <br />four sections of pipeline are being exposed in the City now, <br />and if no problems are found, they will rewrap the pipe and <br />rebury it. Then, another close interval survey will be performed. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported commercial fire <br />inspections have begun, and notices have been filed <br />against all the businesses that have been inspected. <br />He added they are negotiating with the Fire Department <br />to do the multi family inspections for the summer, <br />until the new building inspector is up to speed. <br />Clerk /Administrator rauley reported a notice had been <br />issued to Mid America Auto 30 days ago to bring their operation <br />into compliance with the City Codes and their Conditional Use <br />Permit an they have not responded as yet, and another notice <br />will go out now to remind them they have 30 days left to do the <br />work. <br />Mayor Linke <br />
