The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 1987. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Hankner, Quick, <br />Blanchard, Wuori and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers and Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to approve the May 11, <br />'1987 minutes as presented. <br />4 ayes <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she did not vote on the <br />minutes as she had not been present at the May 11 <br />meeting. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approve the minutes <br />of the May 18, 1987 special meeting as presented. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY CO:)UNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />0 nays 1 abstention <br />John Deppa, 5072 Brighton Lane, stated he had received <br />a $5 penalty from the City for not turning in his <br />water meter reading card. 7e explained they have been <br />having problems on his block with the mail being stolen, <br />and he has spoken to people at City Hall, with the <br />Police Department, and the Post Office, and he feels he <br />has gotten nowhere. He added his wife had called Mayor <br />Linke over 90 days ago to discuss the problem, and <br />they have not heard back from his since then. Mr. Deppa <br />stated he is upset because the City does not believe <br />them, that the mail was stolen, and he has received no <br />response either from the Post Office.
