Mounds View City Council June 22, 1987 <br />Regular Meeting Page Ten <br />Ron Michna, 5287 Edgewood Drive, stated he has been a <br />resident of Mounds View for over 20 years, and most <br />of the establishments in the City were restaurants <br />first and then granted a liquor license to go along <br />with serving food, and he would like to see that <br />maintained in the City, with the establishments <br />being a restaurant first, and serving liquor second. <br />Mayor Linke clarified that two licenses are being <br />issued, one for on -sale intoxicating liquor and the <br />other for Sunday liquor, which also requires food <br />sales. <br />Motion /SecondL Quick /Wuori to renew the on -sale <br />intoxicating and Sunday liquor license for Loose <br />Ends on 10, contingent upon addressing all items <br />from the Fire Department inspection by July 15, <br />1987, and showing proof of food availability, such <br />as a menu. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Mayor Linke stated he would like to see the menu <br />by July 1, in order to be sure they are serving food. <br />:Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the request of <br />the applicant for a temporary mobile home permit, <br />and he reviewed the conditions set forth in the <br />proposed resolution. <br />Attorney Meyers asked for a clarification on what <br />would happen if the shopping center was not built. <br />Mayor Linke replied that they would have to vacate <br />the trailers by December 31, 1987 and find another <br />location to do business. <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated she has not changed <br />her mind about having a business operating out of <br />a mobile home, but she feels this resolution has <br />been written tight enough to protect the City. <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Wuori to approve Reso- <br />lution No. 2205, approving a temporary mobile home <br />permit for Wonder Video, and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the agreement <br />from the County for the installation, of traffic <br />signals at Quincy and County Road I, and he stated <br />Staff would recommend approval of the agreement. <br />18.
