The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Linke at 7:03 PM on Monday, August 10, 1987. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Wuori, <br />Quick, Hankner and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers and Police Chief <br />Ramacher. <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Hankner to approve the July 27, <br />1987 minutes as presented. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays 1 abstain <br />Mayor Linke abstained from the vote as he had not been <br />present at the July 27 meeting. <br />Mayor Linke read Resolution No. 2216 and Resolution <br />No. 2217, resolutions of commendation and appreciation <br />to Michael and Brian Strauss, and presented the <br />resolutions to them. <br />Alice Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road, asked what is being <br />done to the pipeline now, and why. <br />Mayor Linke replied they have been asking that question <br />all weekend and do not know why. He explained the <br />City was not informed of any work to be done, and they <br />are checking with Ramsey County to see if Williams got <br />the necessary permits. <br />Mrs. Frits asked if the homeowners have any right to <br />privacy, as the wor'1ers are digging up the boulevard <br />and parking wherever, and she stated something should <br />be done. <br />DATE APPROVED: 8/24/87 <br />Regular Meeting <br />August 10, 1987 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />1.
