PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY <COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />2401 Hwy. 1 <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 1987. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Wuori, Quick, Hankner, <br />Blanchard and Mayor Linke. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers and Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approve the September <br />14, 1987 minutes as amended. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Bill Frits, 8072 Long Lake Road, stated he had recently <br />used the Groveland Park shelter building and discovered <br />there are dead bolt locks on the door, which require <br />a key to open them from the inside. He stated he felt <br />this was very dangerous, considering the age of some of <br />the groups who use the building, such as Cub Scouts, and <br />he also believed it was illegal. <br />Mayor Linke replied it was illegal and he directed <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley to have the locks changed. <br />Kathy Ayaz, 7751 Bona Road, asked if the Harstad Company <br />had given a time extension to the City on their request <br />to develop Greenfield Estates. <br />Mayor Linke replied they have verbally given a 45 day <br />extension, and the City is waiting for written confirma- <br />tion of that. <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened the <br />first public hearing at 7:06 PM. <br />DATE APPROVED: <br />10/12/87 <br />Regular Meeting <br />September 28, 1987 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />1.
