gm Finance Director Brager reviewed the 1988 budgeted <br />IRV expenditures. He explained the budget would be a <br />maintenance budget, which does not change or increase <br />services, 'but rather maintains them, and that the City <br />has not found a 'way to keep the cost the same, and it <br />has increased each year. He stated the proposed budget <br />represents a 6.2% increase over 1987. <br />Finance Director Brager explained the Council has <br />budgeted $135,000 this year to pursue the City's law <br />suit against Williams Pipeline. He also reviewed <br />the 1988 budgeted revenues, and stated there would be <br />no increase in sewer or water rates, which have remained <br />the same for three years now.
