III Mayor Linke stated he has received other applications <br />for the opening on the Civil Service Commission, and <br />to give the Council an opportunity to discuss them, <br />he would like to remove his motion from March 14 for <br />the appointment of Gordon Fedor, with the approval <br />of Councilmember Blanchard, who had seconded the motion. <br />Councilmember Blanchard agreed to Mayor Linke's <br />request. <br />Mounds View City Council March 28, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Five <br />Mayor Linke reported there are now four applications <br />for the Civil Service Commission, and it is the job of <br />the Mayor to make a recommendation to fill the vacancy, <br />and at this point, after reading the applications, he <br />could now make a recommendation to the Council, or have <br />the Council interview all the applicants. <br />It was the concensus of the Council to interview the <br />applicants, and have them scheduled for 15 minutes <br />each on April 4, beginning at 6 PM. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the purpose of <br />Ordinance No. 439. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Wuori to have the second <br />0 reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 439, amending <br />the Municipal Code of Mounds View by amending <br />Chapter 202 entitled "Snowmobiles and waive the <br />reading. <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Mayor Linke <br />Quick aye <br />Blanchard aye <br />Hankner aye <br />Wuori aye <br />aye <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained invoices had <br />been received from Barr Engineering for their review <br />of the wetlands portion of Greenfield Estates and the <br />presentation of the wetlands ordinance workshop, in <br />the amounts of $6,268.38 and $3,846.00 respectively, <br />and requested Council approval of the payment of the <br />expenses, to be charged to the storm water management <br />fund. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approve the payment to <br />Barr Engineering of $6,268.38 for the Greenfield <br />Estates project, and $3,846.00 for the wetlands ordi- <br />nance workshop, with the funds to come from the storm <br />water management fund. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />11.
