Mounds View City Council June 13, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Five <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the next public hearing at 7:45 PM. <br />There were no comments concerning the renewal of the <br />liquor license for Loose Ends on 10, so Mayor Linke <br />closed the public hearing and reopened the regular <br />meeting at 7:46 PM. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley read the items on the <br />proposed consent agenda, adding a gas station license <br />for ACA Management Services, under Item T. <br />Attorney Meyers advised Item J, approving a salary <br />increase for Shari Linke,should be removed from the <br />agenda for separate action. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approval the consent <br />agenda, minus Item J, and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion /Second: Quick /Wuori to approve a salary increase <br />for Parks, Recreation and Forestry Assistant Shari Linke <br />from $22,440 to $26,084 per year, retroactive to <br />January 1, 1988. <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays 1 abstension <br />Mayor Linke abstained from the vote as Shari Linke is <br />his wife. <br />Savri Ayaz asked why an 18 percent salary increase was <br />being given. Clerk /Admini2 +.r auley explained the <br />job was new, and had not been rated before, and this <br />increase would bring it up to where it should be. <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened the <br />next public hearing at 7:57 PM. <br />There were no comments concerning the renewal of the <br />off -sale intoxicating liquor license for B and R <br />Liquor, so Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and <br />reopened the regular meeting at 7:57 PM. <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened the <br />next public hearing at 7:58 PM. <br />,There were no comments concerning the renewal of the <br />off -sale intoxicating liquor license for Budget Liquor, <br />so Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 7 :58 PM. <br />14.
