Mounds View City Council June 13, 1988 Regular Meeting Page Seven Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approve Resolution No. 2341, approving a conditional use permit for Church Upon the Rock, 7901 Red Oak Drive, contin- gent upon satisfactory negotiations occurring between the current property owner at 7959 Red Oak Drive and the Church, and waive the reading. 5 ayes Councilmember Hankner explained this resolution establishing an environmental task force was not cut in stone, and it is a group that will be evolving over time. There was discussion on having 9 members, and the flexibility it could allow. Councilmember Hankner stated she would like some time to work with this before putting it into an ordinance, and she would hope the Council could begin making appointments at the next regular meeting. She added the information could be cable -cast, put in the area newspapers, spread by word of mouth, and so forth. Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated it was the hope of the Council to get members for the task force from all around the City. Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to adopt Resolution No. 2339, establishing an environmental quality task force, and waive the reading of the resolution. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried 0 nays Motion Carried Public Works Director Minetor reviewed his memo of June 8 regarding emergency work to be done on Well No. 2. Motion /Second: Quick /Hankner to approve a contract with Layne Minnesota Company for emergency repair work on Well No. 2 in the amount of $3,328, to be charged to the water fund. 5 ayes 0 nays Clerk /Administrator Pauley advised that Staff would recommend approval of the preliminary plat for the major subdivision of Mounds View Business Park 2nd Addition. 21.
