Mounds View City Council June 13, 1988 Regular Meeting Page Eight Motion/Second: Hankner /Blanchard to approve Resolution No. 2342, approving the preliminary plat for a major subdivision, Mounds View Business Park 2nd Addition, Everest Development, Ltd., and waive the reading. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Attorney Meyers updated the Council on the progress of the pipeline case. He advised it could be 90 to 120 days before any action occurs in court. Councilmember Wuori had no report. Councilmember Quick asked that the Council consider proclaiming a week in which to commend the Pinewood Park volunteers, as they had not been thanked publicly yet by the Council. Motion /Second: Quick /Linke to direct Staff to write a proclamation designating the week of June 19 -25 as Pinewood Playground Volunteer Week. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Blanchard reminded everyone that June 21 Councilmember is the first recycling day. She also reported the Blanchard 30th anniversary plans are coming along well, and a dance will be held at the Bel -Rae Ballroom on July 13, with the Dick Mackos group playing, and admission will be free to all people wearing an anniversary button. The Council and Staff will be waiters and waitresses for the evening. Councilmember Han'.ner reported the Park and Rec Commission iz looking at Hillview Park again, to come up with a better layout.. She also reported the Council will be taking action on Silver View Park Trail at the June 27 meeting. Clerk /Administrator Pauley advised that Amoco has submitted their park dedication fee of $17,000. Mayor Linke asked that a vacant house at 2309 or 2317 Hillview be looked at, as there are noxious weeds that should be removed.
