Public Works Director Minetor reported he had interviewed four people that day for an intern- ship position to do the pavement management program and he requested Council authorization to hire Troy Gambel. Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to approve the hiring of Troy Gambel on a temporary basis, at a rate of $7.50 per hour, for twelve weeks, beginning June 27, 1988. 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Public Works Director Minetor left the meeting at this time. Clerk /Administrator Pauley read the items on the 11. Approval of proposed consent agenda. Consent Agenda Councilmember Hankner asked that Item C be removed for discussion. Motion /Second: Hankner /Wuori to approve the consent agenda, minus Item C, and waive the reading of the resolutions. 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Councilmember Hankner asked Park and Rec Director Saarion to explain LAWCON grant application for those present from that area.
