Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />,City Attorney Meyers had no report. <br />Councilmember Wuori reported the Mounds View Community <br />Theater is in rehersal for the summer production of <br />"Westside Story which will be presented the end of <br />Truly. Tickets will be going on sale July 10. <br />Councilmember Quick had no report. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported a number of people have <br />expressed interested in serving on the Environmental <br />Quality Task Force, and she would like to make those <br />appointments at this time, to get it started, and fill <br />the remainer of the vacancies as additional interest <br />is shown. <br />Mayor Linke stated the policy has been that a standard <br />application is turned in before any appointment. <br />Councilmember Hankner replied that was for commissions, <br />and this is an advisory task force to the Council, as <br />per the resolution adopted two weeks ago. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to appoint the following <br />people to the Environmental Quality Task Force: Dave <br />Radamacher, to 12/31/89, Bob Carpenter, to 12/31/90, <br />Paul Milke, to 12/31/89, Kay Weseman, to 12/31/90, Barb <br />Watkins, to 12/31/90, and Steve Lauderbauch to 12/31/89. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated that Public Works <br />Director Minetor would be calling the first meeting, <br />at which time a chair would be elected. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she hoped they would have <br />additional names in the next few weeks, to fill the <br />remaining seats. She also expressed satisfaction in <br />having a good mix on the task force of residents from <br />different areas of the City. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported the Council had discussed <br />the east access from Highway 610 and County Road J, and <br />had asked Staff to search for all previous resolution <br />which had been adopted concerning the matter, and after <br />reviewing them, she would like to further state the <br />City's position. <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley advised that a resolution <br />would supercede any previous resolutions. <br />June 27, 1988 <br />Page Nine <br />25.
