Mounds View City Council November 28, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />Motion /Second: Blanchard /Quick to approve the con- <br />sent agenda, minus Item D, and waive the reading of <br />the resolutions. <br />5 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained that due to <br />problems with delivery from Computoservice, Staff <br />was requesting the purchase be authorized not to <br />exceed $1,915 for an ASI Premium, Model 145 <br />personal computer, to allow latitude in purchasing <br />it from a supplier who could meet the City's delivery <br />requirement. <br />Motion /Second: Hankner /Quick to authorize the pur- <br />chase of "Student Manager" software from Aceware <br />Systems for $995, an ASI Premium, Model 145 personal <br />computer not to exceed $1,915, and the transfer of <br />$1,710 from general fund contingency to Account <br />No. 100- 4350 -702, Recreation, Equipment. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the first public hearing at 7:08 PM. <br />City Planner Herman pointed out the location of the <br />business on a map of the City, and she reviewed the <br />request for the outdoor display and sale of items on <br />the property. She reviewed the proposed resolution <br />and conditions which would have to be met, along <br />with the recommendations of the Planning Commission. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 7:11 PM. <br />Mayor Linke closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the second public hearing at 7:11 PM. <br />Public Works Director Minetor explained the snow <br />and ice control policy must be adopted by ordinance <br />in order to be legally enforceable. He reviewed <br />the route map and ':he snow and ice control policy. <br />He explained st -3 would be available for resi- <br />dents to pick up at City Hall and put in place in <br />their yards. <br />Public Works Foreman Ulrich reported there had been <br />no problems with the snow plowing done this past <br />weekend, which had taken 8 hours. <br />If Foreman Ulrich is not available to make the deci- <br />sion on whether to plow or stop, the standby person <br />will be contacted, or Public Works Director Minetor, <br />who will then make the decision. <br />Motion Carried <br />7.
