Mounds View City Council Regular Meeting The second truck is due to the City by mid December, and the loader could be delivered by next week. Both pieces of equipment will speed up the plowing process. It was confirmed that pushing snow into the street while clearing private driveways or parking lots is a violation of the City Code, and residents are required to keep the sidewalks clean when clearing their own driveways. Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened the regular meeting at 7:25 PM. Clerk /Administrator Pauley explained the first read- ing was not placed on the agenda for this evening to allow for any public input or Council review. If there are no changes, it will be presented in two weeks for the first reading. Motion /Second: Quick /Hankner to approve Resolution 9. Consideration o No. 2409, approving a conditional use permit to Resolution No. allow for outside display and sales for Steve's 2409 Appliance, 2841 Highway 10, Planning Case No. 251 -88, and waive the reading. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Finance Director Brager passed out financial reports 10. Third Quarter to the Council and briefly reviewed them. He review- Department Head ed the revenues and expenditures for the third Report quarter and predicted that overall the City should be able to remain within the budget for the year. Finance Director Brager reported the Finance depart- ment had worked with the department heads and Council the past quarter on developing the 1989 budget. The mill rate of 13.5 is a reduction of 3.2 over the mill rate for the 1988 budget. Finance Director Brager also reviewed upcoming events for the Finance depart- ment.
