Consideration of Introduction of Ordinance No. 562 <br />Reestablishing Ordinance No. 533 Establishing a Moratorium on <br />New or Used Car Lots and Motor Vehicle Sale Businesses With <br />the City of Mounds View, and Consideration of Resolution No. <br />4768 Regarding Same <br />Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, explained that this item <br />would continue to enforce the moratorium that was set earlier <br />regarding new or used car lots and motor vehicle sales <br />businesses within the community. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Hankner to Approve the Introduction of <br />Ordinance No. 462 Reestablishing Ordinance No. 533 <br />Establishing a Moratorium on New or Used Car Lots and Motor <br />Vehicle Sale Businesses With the City of Mounds View, and <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 4768 Regarding Same <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />REPORTS <br />1. Report of Councilmembers: <br />Councilmember Quick reported that construction has <br />finally begun on Spring Lake Park Road. <br />Councilmember Blanchard: No report. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported that the Nuisance <br />Ordinance has been implemented. She also commented on an <br />article that appeared in the FOCUS newspaper this week <br />regarding the project with the School District. The <br />article did not accurately reflect what actually went on <br />in the meetings. <br />Councilmember Trude complimented the Recording Secretary, <br />Judy Rider, for the quality work she has done. <br />Report of Mayor Linke: <br />a. Reported that Tim Cruikshank, Assistant to the City <br />Administrator, has accepted a position as City Administrator <br />for the City of Lauderdale. Linke joined the Councilmembers <br />in extending c:~~atulations to Mr. Cruikshank. <br />
