The applicant desires to begin sa.ies <br />on November 29, the day after the Thanksgiving holiday, and was unaware that a <br />conditional use permit is required for such sales. In order to have �he permii before City <br />Council for action prior to November 29, staff is requesting that the Planning Commission <br />discuss and then make iis recommendatian on the permit at your meeting on November <br />20. We realize that this is not your usual procedure. Staf�felt thai since tlzis request is for <br />temporary sales for a very limited time, is not too compiicated and is tied to the holiday <br />season (which cannoi be rescheduled), it would be appropriate to request the Planning <br />I '' � <br />
