This moratorium is set to expire on March 8, 1947. The Planning Commission held a <br />special session on October 23, 1996 to discuss this fopic at tn�hich meeting industry <br />representatives were present to give short presentations and to answer questions. Sta� presented <br />the Commission with a draft ordinance for review on December 4, 199b, which generated <br />additional comments and suggestions. These changes have been incorporated into a revised draft <br />ordinance. <br />Recommentiation <br />Staff recommends that the Planning Commission review the attached revised draft o£ the wireiess <br />telecommunica#ions ordinance and make suggesiions and or comments as to its content and <br />provisions. If the Ptanning Commission considers the ordinance acceptable, staff recomrnends <br />that the Planning Commission adopt Resolution No. 49I-96 recommenciing approval of the <br />ordinance to the City Council. <br />Analysrs <br />A number of changes ha�e 6een made to the proposed ordinance. Any language that has been <br />added since the December 4, 1996 meeting is shaded.
