�. <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMNIISSION <br />RES�LUTION NO. 671-01 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VYEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNES4TA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL OF TRAVIS CERNY FROM THE <br />MQUNDS V�W PLANNING COMMISSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE <br />PLANNING AND ZQNING C4MMISSION BYLAWS, DUE TO NON-ATTENDANCE <br />WI�REAS, the Bylaws for the Planning and Zoning Commission ("Bylaws") are <br />reviewed and approved on an annual basis; and, <br />Wi�REAS, the Bylaws, in Subdivision A of Section IX, sets forth the attendance <br />requirements for the Commission; and, <br />WI�REAS, Planning and Zoning Commissioners shall not miss more than four meetings <br />without the consent of the Commission; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zorzing Commission has thus far held fifteen regularty <br />scheduled meetings, of which Mr. Cerny has attended eight meetings; and, <br />WI�REAS, Mr. Cerny has to date missed seven meetings, six of which were unexcused, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that according to the Mounds View Planning <br />acid Zoning Commission Bylaws, due to the number of unexcused absences and lack of <br />attendance, Mr. Cerny shall be considered to ha.ve vacated his position on the Planning <br />Commission. � <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission directs staff to forward this <br />resolution to the City CounciI prior to approval of the minutes. <br />Adopted this Sth day of September, 2001 <br />Attest: <br />Gary Stevenson, Chairperson <br />James Ericson, Community Development Director <br />N:IDATAIGROUPS1COIvIDEVIPIanning CommissionlPCRESOS1Resolution 671-01 Remova! ofTravis Cemy.doc <br />� <br />
