, <br />;, , <br />Item # 7 <br />City of Mounds Iliew <br />Planning Commission Report <br />Meeting Date: September S, 2001 <br />Title: CONSIDERATION OFA RES�LUTIDNREMOVING TRAVIS CERNY <br />AS A PLANNING COMMISSIONER D UE TD NQN-ATTENDANCE <br />Introduction: <br />The Planning Commission Bylaws require that commissioners attend no less than 20 meetings per <br />year. Since the Commission meets twice monthly and 24 times in a year, commissioners are <br />permitted no more than four unexcused absences in a year. <br />Discussion: <br />Mr. Cerny has not attended a Planning Commission meeting since May 2, 2001, and has missed a <br />total of seven meetings this year out of a total of 15 meetings held. 4nly one of the Mr. Cerny's <br />absences was excused {April 18, 2001 }. According to the Bylaws then, Mr. Cerny shall be <br />considered to have vacated his position. <br />Recammendation: <br />Approve Resolution b71-01, a resolution approving the removal of Travis Cerny from the <br />Mounds View Planning Commission in accordance with �he Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Bylaws due to non-attendance. <br />�C1l,t�#� �+.�tcC�. <br />James Ericson <br />Community Development Director <br />Attachments: <br />1.
