'1 <br />Item # 8 <br />City of Mounds View <br />Planning Commission Report <br />Meeting Date: December 19, 2001 <br />Title: <br />CONSIDERATION OF A RESOLUTTON 681-01, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PLANNIl�IG <br />COMMISSION'S 2002 MEETIlVG SCHEDUI,E. <br />IntYOduction: <br />The Planning Commission establishes its meeting schedule each year by resolution. <br />Discussio�:: <br />The meeting schedule proposed for 2002 represents the usual every first and third Wednesday. There <br />are two meetings with potential conflicts that the Plaiuvng Commission should discuss: (1 } the first <br />meeting in July would fall on the day before the 4`h of July holiday; and, (2) the second meeting in <br />November would fall on the day before Thanksgiving. These meetings are currently listed on #he <br />schedule, but can be removed if the Commission so chooses. <br />The proposed meeting schedule is consistent with the Municipal Code as well as the Commission's <br />own Bylaws. <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve Resolution 681-01, a resolution establishing the 2002 meeting schedule of the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Jim Atkinson <br />Planning Associate <br />Attachments: <br />1.
