Oath and Taking of Off ce: The appointees shall be duly sworn and take office at the <br />first regular meeting of the Commission in the month of January each yeaar. Removal frarn Offzce: <br />a. Az� appointed membez of tkie Commission may be rem.oved from office for jus� cause <br />and on written charges by at least four-#ifths (4/ 5) vote of the entire City Council, but <br />such member shall be enti#Ied to a public hearing before such vote is taken. It shall be <br />the duty of the chairman of the Cornmissio� to notify the City Council promptly of a�ay <br />vacancies occurring iz� %nembership. <br />b. In additio�, an appointed member may be removed by the City Councii for <br />nonattendance at Planning and Zoning Commission meetings, as provided in the by Iaws '; <br />adop#ed by the Planning and �oning Commission, or if a Commission member does z�ot <br />attend twenty (20) reguiariy scheduled meetings per year withont the consent of the <br />Commission. <br />c. Based upon �ie recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Mayor, <br />wifh approval of the City Counc�i, shali fili such vacancies for th� unexpired term of the <br />original appointment. <br />5ubd. 2.
