<br />ergency Interim Ord��ance regulating the siting and location of tattoo shops, body piercing

<br />ors, and establishrt�i�nts of this nature. He explained that an emergency ordinance allows the
<br />t to review the,;�:��guage of the ordinance, and adopt it at the same meeting. He advised there
<br />;::,
<br />.�g�a requir;�r�'��z�t for two meetings, and a 30-day time period is not required in order for the
<br />i����a�� �p b�`��effective. He explained that this allows the City the opportunity to review
<br />;���f;� ���� regard to the possibility of siting these types of businesses within the City.
<br />Planning Associate Ericson stated at this time, the City has no language pertaining to these types
<br />of businesses, and approximately a month ago, the City was approached by such a business. He
<br />stated that with the adoption of this ordinance, staff would put together some language, after
<br />which, the Planning Commission would review this language and make a recommendation to the
<br />City Council for the appropriate language to be included in the City Code.
