RESOLUTION 95-EDA-37 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS V[EW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF BANNERS PER THE 1995\96 MOUNDS <br />VIEW MARKETING PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the 1995\96 Mounds View Marketing Plan was approved by the <br />Economic Development Authority(EDA) on April ] 0, 1995, and <br />WHEREAS, installing banners in the City of Mounds View to inform travelers they <br />are in the main area of the community was a recommendation from the 1995\96 Mounds View <br />Marketing Plan, and <br />WHEREAS, the Marketing Task Force worked several months to research companies <br />and designs for the banners in Mounds View and have made several recommendations to the EDA, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the banners will be royal blue with green tree design and white lettering <br />to read "Mounds View - Pride, Progress ST Partnerships", and <br />WHEREAS, the banners will be installed jointly by the Mounds View Public Worlcs <br />Department and the Blaine\SLP\Mounds View Fire Department at [ocations on County Road I, <br />Edgewood Drive, City Hall, Bridges Golf Course, Long Lake Road and Spring Lake Road, and <br />WHEREAS, funds for tlie purchase of the banners will come from the existing <br />marketing budget and a Northern States Power grant for community promotions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Economic Development Authority of the <br />City of Mounds View hereby approves the purchase of banners per the 1995\96 Mounds View <br />Marketing Plan from Marketing Account No. ] 00-4550-342, Advertising. <br />ATTEST: <br />Adopted this 13th day of November, 1995. <br />President <br />(SEAL) Executive Director <br />
