Village of Mounds View desig, <br />noted on said -zoning map - as <br />.'B -3" -are hereby zoned "B-3" - <br />General. Business -District., <br />(h) All lands' and areas in the <br />Village of. Mounds View desig- <br />nated on said zoning map as <br />"S -C" are hereby zoned "S -C" - <br />Shopping Center District. <br />M All lands and areas In <br />Village of Mounds View-:desig- <br />rated : on said zoning map as <br />"I-1" are hereby zoned "I-1" - <br />Light Industrial District. _ <br />4.2-3 The Zoning -Map, together <br />with everything shown thereon <br />and all amendments thereto <br />shall be as much a part of this <br />-Ordinance as though fullyset <br />forth and described herein. <br />4.2-4 Said zoning map shall be <br />at the scale of one (1) inch. on <br />the map equals two hundred <br />(200) feeton the ground. It <br />shall be the responsibility of the <br />Village Clerk to maintain said <br />zoning map. Amendments there- <br />to shall be recorded on said zon- <br />ing map within fifteen days <br />(15) after official publication of <br />amendments. The official zon- <br />Ang map shall be kept on file in <br />the Village Offices and .shall be <br />open to publicinspection at all <br />times during which the Village <br />Offices are customarily open. <br />4.2-5 Boundaries - <br />(a) District boundary lines on <br />-said map are intended to follow <br />lot lines, - the center lines of <br />streets or alleys the center lines <br />of streets or alleys projected, <br />the center of water courses or <br />the corporate limit. lines, all as <br />they exist at the time of enact- <br />ment of this Ordinance. If dist- <br />rict boundary lines do not fol- <br />low .the above described lines, <br />the district boundary lines are <br />established as drawn on the <br />map. <br />"- SECTION '5 - <br />RESIDENCE DISTRICTS <br />General requirements and uses <br />shall be as hereinafter stated: <br />5.1 GENERAL REQUIRE- <br />MENTS'INALL .RESIDENCE <br />DISTRICTS <br />The following minimum re- <br />quirements shall apply to all <br />buildings that are erected, con- <br />vertedor structurally altered in <br />Residence Districts: <br />5.1-1 Home Occupations shallbe <br />governed by the following regu- <br />lations: - <br />(a) Permitted home occupations <br />shall not be conducted in any <br />building on the premises other <br />than the building which is used <br />by the occupant as the private <br />`dwelling; andfurthermore that <br />not more than one room may be <br />used for such purpose. <br />(b) Permitted home occupations <br />shall not include the employ- <br />ment of any persons not resid- <br />ing on the premises 'in the per- <br />formance' of such occupation, <br />nor theuse of' mechanical equip- <br />ment other- than is - usual for <br />purely domestic or hobby pur- <br />-poses; and further shall not in- <br />clude exterior display or signs <br />except as such are permitted by <br />the sign- regulations for resi- <br />dence districts. . . <br />(c) There 'shall' be no exterior <br />storage of equipment°or mater- <br />ials used in permitted home oc- <br />cupations. - <br />(d) Permitted home occupations <br />shall not include any ofthefol- <br />]owing: <br />(1) The operation of anywhole- <br />sale or retail business unless it <br />is conducted entirely- by mail <br />and does not involve the sale, <br />'shipment or delivery of merch- <br />andise on the premises. <br />(2) Any manufacturing busi- <br />ness, barber --shop or beauty <br />shop, dancing or music school <br />with organized classes of more <br />than one pupil at a time, com- <br />mercial stable- or kennel, or <br />any activity producing noxious <br />matter or perceptible noise be- <br />yond the lot lines. <br />5.1-2 Off -Street Parking - Re- <br />quirements, <br />e- <br />quirements - - - - <br />(a) In all Residetice- Districts <br />off-street automobile parking <br />space shall be provided- as an <br />accessory use in - accordance <br />with the provisions of this'Sec- <br />tion at the time any structure is <br />
