<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />ATTACHMENT A <br /> <br />DESIGN STANDARDS <br />GARBAGE ENCLOSURES <br /> <br />The following standards will serve as the official design <br />specifications for the construction of all garbage dumpster <br />enclosures within the City of Mounds View as required by Chapter <br />104 of the Municipal Code: <br /> <br />LOCATION: <br /> <br />1. All enclosures shall be placed so as to be completely and <br />fully located on the subject property. <br /> <br />2. No enclosure shall be located less than 30'-0" from the <br />front property line nor less than 1'0" from all sides or <br />rear property lines. <br /> <br />3. All enclosures shall be constructed on an impervious <br />surface (i.e., concrete, asphalt pad). <br /> <br />4. Any enclosure attached to a building must meet all <br />applicable building and fire codes. <br /> <br />DIMENSIONS: <br /> <br />1. All enclosures shall be constructed of a size sufficient <br />enough to provide for a minimum of 2'-0" of clearance on <br />all sides of the garbage dumpster. <br /> <br />2. All enclosures shall be a minimum of 6'-0" in height. <br /> <br />3. All enclosures shall be equipped with a latching gate or <br />doors. <br /> <br />APPEARANCE: <br /> <br />1. All enclosures shall be constructed of materials providing <br />for sufficient screening with a minimum of gaps and open <br />areas. <br /> <br />2. All enclosures shall be maintained in a state of good repair <br />at all times. <br /> <br />3. No chain link fencing will be acceptable. <br />
