<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5380 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STA TE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A WETLAND BUFFER PERMIT FOR <br />JEFFREY HOFSTEDE, 7638 SILVER LAKE ROAD <br />PLANNING CASE 572-99 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jeffrey Hofstede has requested approval of a Wetland Buffer Permit for <br />property of which he is the owner, legally known as: <br /> <br />Lot./, Spring Lake Park Knolls Add, except the west 205. J feet thereof, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above-described property is zoned R-l, Single Family Residential; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1010.08 of the Municipal Code states that a Wetland Buffer Permit is <br />required when any construction activities are planned within one-hundred feet of a wetland; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no development activities or disturbances of any kind will occur within the <br />wetland itself; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed home and driveway fall completely within the 100-foot buffer <br />area adjacent to the wetland; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hofstede has drafted the site plan so as to maintain the greatest possible <br />distance between the proposed home and driveway and the wetland; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed the final plans and has determined that the <br />extent of impervious encroachment into the buffer should not negatively impact the wetland. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the Wetland Buffer Permit Jeffrey Hofstede contingent upon the following: <br /> <br />1. Plans and supporting documentation for controlling erosion shall be provided by <br />the applicant and approved by the Community Development Director prior to the <br />issuance of any grading or building permits. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The pervious surface areas of the lots shall be sodded or landscaped (up to the five- <br />foot natural vegetation strip along the wetland) to prevent substantial soil loss from <br />the site. This will need to be accomplished before a certificate of occupancy is issued. <br />
