<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5423 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COL'NTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MIN~ESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIO~AL USE PERMIT FOR A 256 SQUARE- <br />FOOT OVERSIZED SHED AT 2159 TERRACE DRIVE; <br />l\lOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE 1\'0. CVOO-002 <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, Rohert Kleinschmidt has applied for a conditional use pennit to construct a <br />256 square-foot shed in the hack yard of his property located at 2159 Terrace Drive, propcrty <br />zoned R-I, Single Family Residential, and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 19, Block 2, Pinewoot! Terrace, <br />Ramsey County, ~linllesottl <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Mounds View Zoning Code conditionally allows sheds up to 400 square <br />feet in area with a maximum accessory building area not to exceed 1,400 square feet; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed the following documents <br />regarding this proposal: <br /> <br />a. <br />b. <br /> <br />Development Application <br />Zoning Map <br />Site Plan <br />Location Map <br />Photographic Documentation <br />Staff Report <br />Planning Commission Resolution 614-00 <br /> <br />c. <br />d. <br />e. <br />f. <br /> <br />g. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council finds that the proposal satisfies the <br />dimcnsional requirements as outlined in Chapters 1104 and 1106 the Zoning Code; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council finds that the request is consistent with the <br />Mounds Vie\\' Comprehensive Plan in that the Comprehensive Plan encourages the developmcnt and <br />maintenance ofresidential areas so as to improve the quality, appearance and attractiveness of <br />housing units and residential property in general; and, <br /> <br />'VHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council finds that the proposed shed would not be out of <br />place given the character and geography of the surrounding area involved in that sheds are <br />cOlllmonplace residential structural improvements which help keep properties neat and orderly; and, <br /> <br />\VHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council finds that the proposed shed would not <br />depreciate the neighborhood in that the oversized shed would allow the applicant to store items inside <br />which might othenvise he left outside and would guard against a cluttered exterior appearance; and, <br />
