<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4035 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY 91 -1 REGARDING <br />FORFEITURE/EQUITABLE SHARING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to participate in the <br />Federal and State Forfeiture/Equitable Sharing programs when <br />appropriate; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the continued <br />practice of the Mounds View Police Department to make application <br />for seized and forfeited asstes is in the best interest of law <br />enforcement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes that these program <br />resources allow a unique opportunity to provide supplemental <br />funding to augment the police budget and provide for expenditure <br />usages not available in the annual budgetary appropriation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council feels that a policy of fund <br />management, expenditure guidance and program accountability are <br />important aspects of the program and that it is in the public <br />interest to establish a policy of program administration. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Administrative <br />Policy 91 - 1 regarding the Forfeiture/Equitable Sharing Program <br />is hereby adopted. <br /> <br />BE IT FURHTER RESOLVED that said administrative policy <br />be attached to the original copy of this resolution and become a <br />part of the city's Administrative policy Manual. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 14th day of January, 1991. <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />Ac~nistrator <br />
