<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6436 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE 2005 SEASONAL PUBLIC WORKS POSITIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5546 requires that seasonal positions must be <br />approved by the Mounds View City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Seasonal Employees benefit the City by providing labor <br />services that are relatively less expensive and are available during periods of <br />greater labor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Public Works Department does have <br />a need to hire seasonal employees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is recommending that seasonal <br />positions be approved for three periods throughout 2005; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said periods are: Summer, Fall, and Winter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this resolution is consistent with the requirements in <br />Resolution No. 5546; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The 2005 Summer Seasonal Public Works Positions are approved - a <br />total of seven (7) positions. These positions would start in <br />approximately mid-to late-May 2004 and terminate in mid-to late- <br />August 2005. However, one Parks Division seasonal employee <br />typically begins employment in April. <br /> <br />2. The 2005 Fall Seasonal Public Works Positions are approved - a total <br />of two (2) positions. One position in the Public Works Sewer Division <br />and the other in the Parks Division of Public Works. These positions <br />would start approximately in mid to late August 2005. The Parks <br />Division seasonal employee would work until the end of November. <br />The Public Works Sewer seasonal employee would work until the end <br />of December, weather permitting. <br /> <br />3. The 2005 Winter Seasonal Public Works Position is approved - a total <br />of one (1) position. This position would start approximately in early <br />December 2005 and terminate near the end of February 2006. <br />
