<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A. <br /> <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br /> <br />To: <br /> <br />Barb Nelson, Spring Lake Park City Administrator <br />Jim Ericson, Mounds View City Administrator <br />Dave Johnson, City of Blaine Safety Services Division Manager <br /> <br />From: <br /> <br />Nyle Zikmund, Spring Lake Park Fire Department Incorporated Fire Chief <br /> <br />Date: <br /> <br />April 24, 2003 <br /> <br />Re: <br /> <br />Fire Contract <br /> <br />This memorandum serves as official notice and understanding that the three cities and fire <br />department are aware that the "Contract to Furnish Fire Protection Services to the Cities of <br />Blaine, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park" automatically renews for another ten year <br />period effective January 1, 2004 unless any of the four parties gives written notice of <br />intention to re-negotiate some or all of the contract by July 1, 2003. <br /> <br />The memorandum, signed by all four parties serves as a record that all parties have been <br />notified and none of the parties intend to service notice and understand the contract will <br />automatically renew until December 31,2013. <br /> <br />This memorandum also serves as a record of documentation that the lease agreement <br />contained as an attachment to the Contract contains incorrect address information for the <br />City of Blaine and the Fire Department. <br /> <br />The correct address for the City of Blaine is: 10801 Town Square Drive <br />Blaine, MN 55449 <br /> <br />The correct address for the Fire Department is: 1710 County Road 10 <br />Spring Lake Park, MN 55432 <br /> <br />Barb Nelson, SLP Jim Ericson, Mounds View <br /> <br />Dave Johnson, Blaine Nyle Zikmund, SLP Fire Department <br />
