MINUT6S OF THE PROCEEDINCS OF THE PARK AND REQtEATION C0t�89ISSI0N CITY OF 1�t1UND6 VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA Regular Seseion October 24� 1974 City Hall Cs*1 TO ORDER The Mounds View Park and Recreation Commisaion met in regular session and was called to order by Ct�airman Ba�m�rtner at 6:30 P.M. ROLL CALL Chairman Roger Baumgartner, Co�mnieaionara Wayne Burmeister, .Iacque Coplin, Barbara Haake, Gordon Fedor, and Vern Petexaon. Aleo prasent wae the Director o£ Parks antl Recreation, Doug Bryant. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Commissioner Haake requested an addition to the minutes of October 24� 1974 meeting. During the Brightwood Hilla discussion Haake suggested that Councilman Pickar seek £unding from Ramaey County to help support Lakeside Park -- etated because of the lack of facility development and limited open spr.ce enwlvement by Ramsey Comty Park and Recreation Department. Motion by C�issioner Haake and seconded by Commissioner Buxmeister to approve the minutes as a�ended, of Che September 26, 1974 meeting. The motion passed unanimously. CdAIRMANS REPORT Chairman Baumgartner reported that the final payment of funds by P.B.K. Investments (Subdivision Ordinance) lias been received totalling $2,956.00 which fulfills P.B.K.'s obli�tion. Next, Baum�rtner reported that the Ciky budget t�ad been finalized and adopted. The Psfk and Recreation Budget was approved at $9.°_?45, In addition the Diseased Tree Budge[ was set for $11,000. PARK PRIORITIES/ MASTFR The Director of Parks and Recrmtion was called PLAN upon to lead a discuseion for categorizing all parke relative to Mounds V1ew°s de£inition and needs. Co�issioners analyzed the functional classification and design of each park and arrived at a c�plete picture for park devel- opment.
