Also <br />present W4E2Councilman Roger Baumgartner and Director poug <br />Bryant. <br />Approval of Minutes Com�issioner Coplim pointed out that she was not present at the <br />March 6, 1975 meeting. <br />Motion by Coamissionea Buxmeister and secoraled by Cownissioner <br />Fedor to approve the revised minutes of the March 6, 1975 meeting. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Chairman's Report Chairman Vern Peterson talked about previous Park and Recreation <br />meetings and reminded Co�issioners to be open in regards to <br />attitudes and opinions on issues. <br />The Director of Parks and Recreation stated that he hoped to get <br />spontaneous positive or negative feedback to enable the depart- <br />ment to stay current with daily and weekly assignments. <br />Councilman's Report Councilman Baumgartner discussed the new park at the corner of <br />Silver Lake Road and County Raod H2. He stated that Coa�issioners <br />should be giving thought to the development and design of this park <br />and specifically to the type of facilities expected. <br />Ba�mgartner added that the 10 � cash or land-park dedication fee <br />required for sub-divisions would subsidize the majority of develop- <br />ment. A discussion ensued. <br />Brochure F, Prograss The first item of business was a report by the Director on the <br />spring brochure and program. <br />Bryant reported on the tremendous response to the spring program <br />which enrolled over 880 participants. He added that the r�en's <br />and sen's softball leagues were already filled for the su�er. <br />A brief discuasion ensued during which the director answered <br />questions regarding the brochure and attendance. <br />Recreation Report Next on the agenda the Director presented the first annual report <br />on attendance and registration fees. <br />The Director pointed out that the activity fund had a surpl�s of <br />$226.70 as of De:ember 31, 1974.
