MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br />PARKS AND RECREATION CODAfISSION <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Special Session <br />January 8, 1976 <br />City Hall <br />Call [o Order The Mounds View Parks & Recreation Comnission met in special <br />session and was called to order by Chairman Peterson at <br />6:50 P.M. <br />Roll Call Chairman Vern Peterson, Crnmnissioners Jacque Coplin� Wayne <br />Burmeister� Wayne Weflen, Gordon Fedor and Kip Lundquist. <br />Also present were Uoug Sryant, Director; Marcia <br />de La Bruere, Program Supervisor and John Turrittin� <br />Landscape Architect. <br />Approval of Motion by Co=mnissioner Fedor and seconded by Camnissioner <br />Minutes Coplin to approve the minutes of the Movember 13� 1975 <br />meeting. The motion passed unimously. <br />Appointment of Chaitman Peteison [urned the meeting over to Vice Chairman <br />Co�issioners Burmeister for the purpose of reappointing Cau¢nissioners <br />Fedor� Peterson and Naake to three year texms camiencing <br />J�nuary 1� 1976. <br />Motion by Comnissioner Burmeister recertenending to the City <br />Council and Mayar, in accordance with ordinance #3401. that <br />Commissioners Peterson� Fedor and Haake be reappointed to <br />three year terms crnmnencing January 1, 1976. The motion <br />was seconded by Co�mmissioner Coplin and passed unanimously. <br />Motion by Camdssioner Burmeister recomnending to the City <br />Council and Mayor� in accordance with ordinance #3401� that <br />Co�mnissior.er Peterson be reappointed as Chairman of the Parks <br />and Recreation Co�mnission. Comnissioner Coplin seconded <br />and the motion passed unanimously. <br />Chairman's Chairman Peterson opened the meeting wi[h a discussion of <br />Report the Pinewood Neighborhood Cormnunity Education Advisory <br />Council. He questioned whether or not a representative <br />fram the Parks and Recreation Crnmnission xrould be attending <br />these meetings. <br />Commissioner Coplin co�ented that she had received a call <br />fran Jodi Bromland in regard to the N.C.S.A.C. mee[inga. <br />Co�niasioner Coplin said that Bromland was under the impses- <br />sion that ahe was designated as the Commiasion�s repseaenta� <br />tive and wondered why she had not been attending meeCings. <br />
