Sliding hill and landscape mounds. <br />The Director was requested ta select two of the types <br />of playground equipment [hat was presented and bring <br />them to the next meeting for discussion. Commissioner <br />Coplin suggested the Game Time s[ructures. <br />Motion by Covm�issioner Coplin and seconded by Commissioner <br />Peterson recommending to [he City Council that the <br />Eas[/West 400' ditch be tiled as soon as possible. Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mrs.laycee's Diane Kline, President Mrs. Jaycee's, presented the Parks <br />Donation and Recreation Commission with a$100.00 donation to <br />build a fireplace in Wayside Pask (Civic Center). Council- <br />man Ba�gartner, Chairman Yeterson, Co�issioners, and the <br />Director thanked the Mrs. Jaycee's for their interest and <br />suppor[. <br />Park Struc- The Director of Parks and Recreation presented some build- <br />tures ings for future consideration to be used for shelter build- <br />ings in parks. Estimated costs ranged from $18,000.00 to <br />$40,000.00. Councilman Baumgartner pointed out the diffi- <br />cc�r� of huilding these shelters with funds from property <br />taxes. He added that another means ox iunding ��y Se :�cee- <br />sary to get permanent buildings for all parks. A brief^ <br />discussion followed. <br />Co�issioners requested that this be put on the agenda for <br />further discussion at a later date and that the Director <br />acquire information necessary for Commissioners to examine <br />the feasibility of a bond issue. <br />Subdivisions Motion by Commi.ssioner Burmeister and seconded by Co�i.ssion- <br />er Peterson to accept a cash dedica[ion to the park fund in <br />accordance with Ordinance Ii42.07 for the following subdi- <br />visions: <br />Patrick Novak Janice Michael <br />Delmar Ford Wayne Spiczka <br />The mo[ion passed unanimously. <br />Program The Director suggested that a decision be made on the <br />Subsidy n�ber of recreation classes that the Parks S Recreation <br />Department will provide free of charge to economically <br />disadvantaged families and individuals; for example, <br />welfare cases. <br />Motion by Commiesioner Weflen and seconded by Commiseioner <br />Burmeiater to limit the number of classea per child, per <br />sesaion, to one swi�ing class and one additional activity <br />not exceeding $9.00 fee. The motion pasaed unanimously. <br />
