MINUTES OF THE PROCfiEDINGS OF THE <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />CO'JNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STGTE OF TffNNESOTA <br />Regular Sesaion <br />February 26, 1976 <br />City Hall <br />Call to Order The Mounds View Parks & Recreation Co�ission met in <br />regular session and was called to order by Chairman <br />Peterson at 6:40 p.m.. <br />Roll Call Chairman Vern Peterson, Commissionere Wayne Burmeiater, <br />Barbara Haake, Sacque Coplin, Kip Lundquist. Also <br />present were Roger Baumgartner, Councilman; Doug Bryant, <br />Director; and Marcia deLaBruere, Program Supervisor. <br />Chaixman's Chairman Pe[erson opened the meeting with a brief <br />Report report on the Woodcreat Park Development public meet- <br />ing held on February 12, 1976. He noted that in addi- <br />tion to the staff and commission representatives <br />present there were eleven residents. He felt it was <br />a good presentation and that the plan was accepted <br />positively. <br />Councilmen's Councilman Roger Baumgartner reported on the Robert <br />Report Waste Subdivision and the necessity of the lOX ap- <br />praisal for a land or cash dedication. <br />He continued by covmending the staff who compiled the <br />HUD pre-application. He felt it was a good project <br />and mas well documented. The Director commented on <br />the process involved to get 'n'�iil iur.us Y.-.a�gF. the <br />Co�uni[y Development Block Grant program. <br />Five Year The Director of Parks and Recreation was called on <br />Plan to present the finalized Five-Year Capltal Improve- <br />ment Program. <br />Bryant explained that the plan represents the past <br />several months of park planning process in the city <br />and that this plan would be re-evaluated annually <br />and revised as necessary, but only following a <br />judicious reinterpretation and recording of reasons <br />which result in any modifications. <br />Bryant pointed out that this plan superceeds the one <br />approved at the September 11, 1975 commission meeting. <br />
