MZNUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CITY .^.'r MOLINDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MIt4NESOTA <br />Regular Session <br />March 25, 1976 <br />City Hall <br />Call to Order The Mounds View Parks & Recreation Commission met <br />in regular session and was called to order by Chair- <br />man Peterson at 6:40 p.m. <br />Roll Call Chairman Vexn Peterson, Co�mnissioners Wayne Burmeister, <br />Jacque Coplin, Sarbara Haake, Wayne Weflen, Kip Lund- <br />quist. Also present were Roqer Baumgartner, Councilman; <br />Doug Bryant, Director; and Marcia �eLaBruere, Program <br />Supervisor. <br />Approval of Motion by Commissioner Coplin and seconded by Com- <br />Minutes missioner gurmeister to agprove the minutes of <br />February 26, 1976, as amended. The amendments were: <br />1. Approval of the January 22, 1976 minutes. <br />Motion by Chairman Peterson and seconded <br />by Commissioner Burmeister. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />2. Co�mnissioner Haake pointed out that it <br />was a Mounds View Realtor that poi�!ed <br />out effect of an improving park systzm <br />and strong recreation program. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />C�uncilman's Council.man Roger Baumgartner reported: the motions <br />Report on the position/classification salary plan and the <br />artificial channels/trails proposal was approved by <br />the City Council. He added that the Five-Year Park <br />Plan was being analyzed and would be considexed at <br />a later date. <br />Commissioners Coimnissioner Coplin invited che Mounds View Park and <br />Report Recx•eation Coimnission to attend the upcoming special <br />meeting of the Community Education Advisory Council. <br />She added that city officials would be invited from <br />all co�unities within the district and that the pur- <br />pose was to exchange ideas and inform officials of <br />programs and policies of Community Education. <br />The Director of Parks and Recreation stated that the <br />da�e of this meeting wae not finalized as of yet. <br />He added that Co�mnissioners would be notified as soon <br />as possible on the specafics. <br />
