MZNUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION CITY .^.'r MOLINDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MIt4NESOTA Regular Session March 25, 1976 City Hall Call to Order The Mounds View Parks & Recreation Commission met in regular session and was called to order by Chair- man Peterson at 6:40 p.m. Roll Call Chairman Vexn Peterson, Co�mnissioners Wayne Burmeister, Jacque Coplin, Sarbara Haake, Wayne Weflen, Kip Lund- quist. Also present were Roqer Baumgartner, Councilman; Doug Bryant, Director; and Marcia �eLaBruere, Program Supervisor. Approval of Motion by Commissioner Coplin and seconded by Com- Minutes missioner gurmeister to agprove the minutes of February 26, 1976, as amended. The amendments were: 1. Approval of the January 22, 1976 minutes. Motion by Chairman Peterson and seconded by Commissioner Burmeister. Motion passed unanimously. 2. Co�mnissioner Haake pointed out that it was a Mounds View Realtor that poi�!ed out effect of an improving park systzm and strong recreation program. The motion passed unanimously. C�uncilman's Council.man Roger Baumgartner reported: the motions Report on the position/classification salary plan and the artificial channels/trails proposal was approved by the City Council. He added that the Five-Year Park Plan was being analyzed and would be considexed at a later date. Commissioners Coimnissioner Coplin invited che Mounds View Park and Report Recx•eation Coimnission to attend the upcoming special meeting of the Community Education Advisory Council. She added that city officials would be invited from all co�unities within the district and that the pur- pose was to exchange ideas and inform officials of programs and policies of Community Education. The Director of Parks and Recreation stated that the da�e of this meeting wae not finalized as of yet. He added that Co�mnissioners would be notified as soon as possible on the specafics.
